American Airlines Launches Award Booking on AA.com and AAVacations.com, Allowing Customers to More Easily Turn Miles Into Travel
Fort Worth, TX - Oct. 29, 2001 - Have you been saving your frequent flyer miles for a rainy day? Redeeming these miles just became easier for AAdvantage members who log on to AA.com and AAVacations.com. This new award-booking feature allows AAdvantage members to conveniently book air travel and customized vacation packages using miles.
On AA.com, AAdvantage members now can book the most popular award, the 25,000-mile PlanAAhead Award, in one easy online transaction. Plus, they will receive the standard online booking bonus of up to 1,000 AAdvantage miles for all bookings including award bookings made on AA.com. After logging in with an AAdvantage number and password, just click on the AAdvantage option, then the Award Booking link. And, for a limited time this award is available for only 15,000 miles.
